PFD skis have worked with us since day one, using our 19mm 1ply and 0.6mm veneer bamboo as the main material in all their skis. Over 70% of their construction consists of bamboo, mainly the core, but also the top sheet. This allows them to create skis which are strong but also light, with the powerful natural flex properties that bamboo creates. This unique construction is also complemented with the use of fibreglass and carbon fibre.
All PFD skis are freeride specific, aimed for the backcountry environment. Every set is made to order, with a limited production of 100 sets a year.
